"Keeping the dance floor hoping is always about the what, when and how. It can be as simple as the song selected, the order it's played in and the length of play and dexterity of the DJ.

It might be more complex, in taking the dancers through a journey via shifting the mood of the music or changing the genres. It will all be decided on the fly, by the DJ by watching the reactions of the guests, from subtle facial aspects and positioning on the floor, to uttering of approval.
